General Director: Le Thi Hai Chau   

Ms. Le Thi Hai Chau started her career as a lecturer at a prestigious university more than 20 years ago in Ho Chi Minh City. After moving into the field of tourism management, Ms. Chau has garnered numerous notable achievements. Currently, she is running three resorts belonging to three different prestigious global brands, with a total scale of up to 1,300 rooms. The group of resorts was the first international 5-star resort cluster at Ong Lang beach, Mövenpick Phu Quoc.

As someone who has been with the Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc project since its early days, for 5 years, Ms. Chau and her professional associates have spent over five years on the Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc project, completing legal procedures, overseeing construction, and finalizing installation. The project was slated to be the first Swiss-branded resort on the pearl island in March 2020. However, after only one month of opening, the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic caused the resort to temporarily close from April 20, 2020, to comply with social distancing regulations.

Thanks to the support of the Group’s Board of Directors, and staff from specialized departments, “captain” Hai Chau has successfully helped Mövenpick Phu Quoc overcome difficulties set by the pandemic. Exactly 1 month after the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, the rooms at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc quickly sold out, restoring pride and confidence for all employees and team members involved.
